Florian’s showroom in Marais

While in Paris, I visited Florian’s showroom in Marais, each season I really want to discover his new work and each season I admire how he presents his jewellery and how he carries his very individual vision.

We collaborated for 5 years until both of us needed to spread our wings and try things separately. Although no longer working together, I am still definitely a huge fan!

The SS12 collection blew me away. Beautiful colours, custom made beads with the Pope and previous campaign images, animal shaped beads in pastel pink,  shiny aluminium chains  etc… you always recognize his signature but he succeeds to propose new elements and ideas each season.

Florian to me is one of the most talented jewellery designers around. Still feeling frustrated for the lack of recognition from Fashion press when so many mediocre “designers” grace the pages of  influential fashion publications on a monthly basis. No I would not dare give names!

Florian just sent me his SS12 look book before leaving for Japan, where his collection is most successful. The SS12 collection is untitled Eccentric Ecstasy, The campaign images are just incredible! Bravo Florian! I think to date, this is my favourite collection!
